FAQs

Who is this travel wheelchair suitable for?

The Flyte series wheelchairs are designed for users who require attendant-assisted mobility for daily use, hospital visits, travel, or outdoor movement. They are suitable for elderly users, post-surgery patients, or individuals with limited mobility.

What is the maximum weight capacity of the wheelchair?

All Flyte series wheelchairs are designed to support a maximum load capacity of up to 100 kg, ensuring reliable and safe everyday mobility.

Are these wheelchairs self-propelled or attendant-driven?

These models are attendant-propelled wheelchairs, meaning they are designed to be pushed by a caregiver or attendant for easier control and maneuverability.

Are the wheelchairs easy to fold and carry?

Yes. All Flyte series models feature a quick front-folding design that allows the wheelchair to fold compactly within seconds. This makes them convenient for car storage, travel, and small spaces.

Can the folded wheelchair be moved easily?

Yes. The wheelchairs come with a pull-out travel handle, allowing the folded wheelchair to be rolled like a suitcase. This makes it easier to move through airports, railway stations, hospitals, and shopping areas.

How lightweight are these wheelchairs?

The Flyte series wheelchairs are designed to be lightweight for travel convenience. Depending on the model, they typically weigh between 8.8 kg and 9.5 kg, making them easy to lift and transport.

Do the tyres require air filling?

No. The wheelchairs use solid honeycomb PVC tyres, which are puncture-proof and do not require air. These tyres also provide shock absorption for smoother movement on uneven surfaces.

Are the armrests movable for easy transfer?

Yes. The wheelchairs feature 270° swing-up armrests, which make it easier for users to transfer to and from beds, sofas, or car seats.

Are the brakes safe and easy to operate?

Yes. The wheelchairs include dual locking attendant brakes mounted on the push handles. These brakes allow attendants to slow down the wheelchair while moving and also lock the wheels completely when parked.

Are the cushions comfortable for long sitting hours?

Yes. The wheelchairs are designed with foam cushioned seating supported by a strong hard base, preventing seat sagging and ensuring better posture support during extended sitting periods.

Are the seat materials easy to maintain?

Yes. Depending on the model, the seats are made with breathable mesh cushions or waterproof rexine cushions, both of which are durable and easy to clean for everyday use.

Is the wheelchair rust-resistant?

Yes. The wheelchair frames feature high-quality powder coating, which helps protect the frame from rust and corrosion, making them suitable for long-term use.

What safety features are included?

The Flyte series includes several safety features such as:

  • Safety seat belt
  • Attendant hand brakes with locking function
  • Anti-slip footrest
