Aasraa Power Stair-X

AASRAA POWER STAIR-X — Premium Stair-Climbing Power Wheelchair

The AASRAA POWER STAIR-X is a high-end stair-climbing power wheelchair engineered to revolutionize assisted mobility for users who need both indoor comfort and stair navigation capability. Built for reliability, performance, and user comfort, Stair-X combines cutting-edge power systems with durable construction and thoughtful ergonomics.

At its core, Stair-X features a robust powder-coated aluminium frame with sturdy cross-brace support and sleek black glossy finish for long-lasting durability and rust resistance. The chair is designed to support up to 200 kg of user weight while maintaining a compact overall footprint that folds efficiently for storage and transport.

Powered by 250 W brush motors and a detachable 24 V 12 Ah lithium-ion battery, Stair-X delivers smooth propulsion on flat surfaces and reliable performance during stair travel. On a full charge (6–8 hours), it offers a practical driving range of up to 15 km, making it suitable for daily use in hospitals, offices, airports, and paved outdoor environments.

Advanced Stair Navigation System

Stair-X’s standout feature is its ability to climb and descend stairs safely with an attendant. The innovative interlocking stair track system engages securely with stair edges, preventing slips or backward sliding and allowing the wheelchair to navigate step risers with confidence. With a simple Up/Down control panel, the attendant can operate stair travel comfortably and without strain.

The stair system is easy to deploy when needed and retracts effortlessly, allowing the chair to function as a regular wheelchair on smooth surfaces. This dual-mode capability makes Stair-X ideal for multi-level homes, public buildings, and travel spaces where ramps or lifts may not be available.

Comfort & User Features

Comfort and usability are central to Stair-X’s design. The spacious 15-inch seat is upholstered in antimicrobial, fire-retardant rexine with 30 mm foam padding, offering breathable comfort for extended sitting periods. A padded, adjustable headrest and soft foam armrests ensure ergonomic support for users of different needs.

Practical features include:

• Foldable and swing-open footrests for effortless transfers.

• Swing-up armrests that make side transfers easier.

• A safety seat belt to secure the user during movement.

• Anti-skid zinc-plated parking brakes for secure stops.

• An easy-to-read control panel for attendant use, showing battery and voltage levels.

• Strong 6-inch front and 8-inch rear wheels designed for smooth rolling on tile, wood, carpet, concrete, paved paths, and grass surfaces.

Convenience & Portability

Stair-X’s smart foldable frame makes storage and transport effortless. The wheelchair collapses with its footrest and backrest folded — reducing storage space and allowing partial fitting in car boots (vehicle dependent).

The detachable battery allows charging without needing to handle the entire wheelchair, while the plug-and-play design makes daily use simple.

Safety & Reliability

Your peace of mind is paramount. Stair-X is built with an electronic braking system, interlocking stair safety mechanism, and anti-skid parking brakes. The durable frame and premium components ensure longevity and dependable performance in daily use.
